We will be serving a Christmas Meal with all the trimmings for the homeless and poor in partnership with our neighbors Columbus Avenue Baptist Church (CABC) on December 21, 2011, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. in the CABC Fellowship Hall. (14th and Columbus). This will be our third year of participating in this joint effort with CABC.

We are accepting donations of frozen boneless turkey breasts for our part of the food donation for this event. Please drop frozen turkey breasts off at the rectory Mon-Fri 9:00-12:30 & 1:30-4:00. Cash donations will also be accepted.

We also need volunteers to work in all phases of this event, from assisting CABC until the end of the event. CABC volunteers will prepare the meal and prepare the fellowship hall, St. Mary’s volunteers are tasked with helping serve the meal/drinks, preparing “to go goodie bags” for the attendees, and helping with cleanup. Volunteers please report to CABC at 11:30 AM.
