For the last couple of weeks, we have been reflecting on Jesus’s ministry of service: “For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mk 10: 45) Starting this coming December, the Diaconal Formation Office will begin accepting applications for the class of 2028, which will commence formation in January 2023. Men between the ages of 30 and 59 sensing God’s call to the permanent diaconate and their wives are invited to attend one of a series of upcoming inquiry sessions to be held in locations around the diocese. Dates and locations may be found in the bulletin.
