As we continue to see the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian in which many lives have been lost along with homes and businesses have been severely damaged and destroyed, Bishop Vásquez asks that parishes take up a second collection on the weekend of October 15/16. Please be as generous as possible.
The Fatima Rosary will be at noon on Saturday, October 15.
Join the Fifth Encounter praying the rosary at 10 a.m. at the Grotto on Sunday, October 16.
During the entire month of October, there will be posters and interactive bulletin boards at the church entrances. Please bring a small baby-related item to place on one of these boards, such as an ultrasound photo, a birth announcement, a pacifier, or anything to focus attention on Respect Life month and Walking With Moms in Need. Any size or brand of diapers is appreciated especially newborn and small. Formula preference is Similac 360 Total Care, Advanced and Sensitive, and Sam’s Members Mark. Please put the formula and diapers in the box in the collection box in the narthex or bring to the church office. Donations will be distributed to the Gabriel Project, CareNet, and to moms in need in our own parish. Please participate in this important awareness initiative.
The Fall 2022 Prayer Campaign runs from Wednesday, September 28 to Sunday, November 6th. You can still sign up to pray one-hour prayer shifts for 40 Days for Life. See the bulletin for more information on the campaign.
Please keep Fr. Joe in your prayers for a safe, relaxing, and much-deserved vacation for the next two weeks. We will have a substitute priest on the weekend of October 15/16 for confessions and Mass. There will not be the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Friday, October 14.
