Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord
The Parish Council meets at noon in the Conference Room this Sunday.
Easter lily envelopes, large plastic Easter eggs, and individually wrapped Easter candy should be turned in by Monday, April 3.
Women’s Bible Study will be at 9:30 in the Conference Room on Wednesday, April 5.
This week’s reconciliation times will be on Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. and on Good Friday from 4-5 after the Stations of the Cross which begin at 3 p.m. Masses will be at 12:10 and 5:15 on Wednesday and on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. this week. There will not be a morning Mass on Holy Thursday. The Passion of the Lord, Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion will be at 7 p.m. on Good Friday. Good Friday is the first day of the Divine Mercy Novena – pick up your copy at any church entrance.
There is a sign-up sheet on the lectern in the narthex for Washing of the Feet on Holy Thursday. Adults and children are encouraged to participate.
Every year on Good Friday, parishes in the diocese will accept donations to support the Franciscans working in the Holy Land. The collection is devoted to not only the preservation of the Holy Places of pilgrimage where Jesus lived, died, and rose again, but above all to pastoral, charitable, educational, and social works for the welfare of our Christian sisters and brothers. Please be generous.
Attention all high school seniors! Please contact the church office if you are a graduating high school senior. The Knights of Columbus are again offering a chance at a scholarship for Catholic students who will graduate this spring and plan to attend college or trade school within the following year. Application forms are available in the church office. The JJ. Kearns Assembly 1109 application forms are due by Friday, April 14.
The Easter edition of The Word Among Us is at each church entrance.
The church office and gift shop will be closed from Holy Thursday through Easter Monday.
Rehearsal for the Easter Vigil will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Holy Saturday, April 8. The Easter Vigil Mass begins at 8:30 p.m.

Second Sunday Pro-Life Rosary and Second Sunday Gathering will not meet on Easter Sunday.
Please remember to bring donations of baby diapers and formula again next weekend as we continue our important initiative for Respect Life and Walking with Moms in Need. Items will be shared between the Gabriel Project and CareNet.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be immediately after the 10:30 Mass on Easter Sunday.
