The Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Next week we will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection to support the Universal Church and the work of the Holy See, including helping Pope Francis to carry out his charitable works. These works benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters. Please be generous.
Raffle tickets are on sale at all Masses.
Copies of the July/August edition of The Word Among Us and copies of This Is My Body: A Call to Eucharistic Revival by Bishop Robert Barron is at all church entrances. One copy of each per family, please.
St. Joseph’s Annual Picnic in Elk will this Sunday. Barbeque Brisket plates are $15 each. The meal will be served from 11 to 2. The Auction begins at 1 p.m. There will be bingo, a jewelry booth, a country store, children’s games, and raffle prizes.

The 14th Annual Central Texas Catholic Men’s Mass will be at St. Joseph in Manor on Saturday, July 22 at 9 a.m. It is a free event. A reception will be after the Mass in the Parish Hall. See more information in the bulletin.
Families Encountering Christ will be on Saturday, July 29 at St. Louis from 8:30 to 5:30. Activities include Mass, Adoration, Confession, and both lunch and dinner. Registration is only $50 per family. See the flyer posted on the bulletin board. Please contact the office for more information, if necessary.
Together in Holiness—Catholic Marriage Conference that inspires spouses and empowers parents will be August 5 from 10:45 to 6 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church I Austin. See the bulletin for more information.
