February 10, 2019 -- Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thank you to all who have responded to the call for more Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to assist at Sunday Mass. If you have not decided yet, it is not too late. Deacon Fitzpatrick will have a training session this coming Saturday, February 16 at 10 A.M. here in the church. It will take about one hour, depending on questions and discussion. If you would like to be able to take Holy Communion to homebound family members or others who cannot come to Mass, you must have this training and be commissioned. Current Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are welcome to attend as a refresher.

Spring Festival Raffle tickets are on sale this weekend before and after all Masses. Ticket prices are $1 per ticket or 6 for $5.

Pro-Life Second Sunday Gathering is this Sunday in the Parish Hall beginning at 12 noon with an Italian luncheon followed by an action planning meeting at 1:00 P.M.

The Fifth Encounter Group will meet on Tuesday, February 12 at 6:00 P.M.

The Waco Deanery of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will meet on Wednesday, February 13 at 10 A.M. at the Church of the Assumption in West. The meeting is open to all women.

The Parish Pot Luck Supper will be Thursday, February 14 at 6:30 P.M in the Parish Hall. Bring a dish to share good food and great fellowship.
