With the crisis in the Holy Land growing more dire, the Holy Father has reminded all believers that there is only one side in the ongoing conflict, the side of peace. That said, he reminds us that this side is taken “not with words, [but] with prayer and total dedication”. To that end, the Holy Father has invited people throughout the world to a day of prayer, fasting, and penance for peace on October 27 (this Friday). The day will include an hour of prayer at 6 p.m. (Central Europe Time) in St. Peter’s Square to pray for peace throughout the world.
