If you or someone you know in the parish is in need of assistance with food for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas please let the church office know.
The food collected during the months of November and December will be used for Parish families. Please be as generous as you can.
Baptismal Preparation Class for parents and godparents will be on Thursday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room. Please call the church office to sign up for the class.
Lector and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion Workshop will be on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the church. This is a required workshop for all current and new Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers. Guidelines and information for lectors and extraordinary ministers can be found on the parish website under the Liturgy heading.
The Women’s Guild will be having a Bake Sale after all Masses next weekend in the Parish Hall.
The St. Mary’s Parish Council, which consists of representatives from each of the major organizations and ministries within the parish as well as three representatives that are elected at-large by the parish membership. One of the at-large positions will expire soon. Please carefully read the bulletin insert regarding Pastoral Council Nominations. If you or someone you know is willing to serve on the Parish Council please inform Fr. Joe or call the parish office before November 30, 2011.
Thank you to all the families who made a pledge to the Catholic Services Appeal last weekend. If you have not yet made your pledge, please prayerfully consider doing so. It is not too late. Your gift can make a real difference in the lives of many who are supported by our diocesan programs in education, spirituality and outreach. Pledge envelopes are available in the pews. St. Mary’s Parishioner Patricia Ramilo died on Nov. 9th. Rosary will be on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakcrest Funeral Home and Funeral Mass here at St. Mary’s on Monday at 9:15 a.m.
