The Vatican designated today as the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The theme chosen by Pope Francis for this day is “Forced like Jesus Christ to Flee” a focus on the plight of internally displaced persons. Reflect on the global contributions of immigrants and refugees and pray for the well-being of our immigrant brothers and sisters as we continue to work to bring solidarity, compassion, and love throughout our human encounters.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops designated today as Priesthood Sunday which seeks to reaffirm the priesthood of Jesus Christ and its central place in the life of the Church. This day also specifically honors priests, without whom the Holy Sacraments could not be conferred, for a single day out of the 365 days of the year during which they tirelessly serve their parishes. Pray for our priests. Prayer for Priests cards are at all church entrances. Celebrate and thank a priest today!
Mary’s Men will meet the first and third Thursdays of the month to discuss the topics of Into the Breach. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of authentic Catholic masculinity. All men of the parish are welcome and encouraged to attend on Thursday, October 1 in the Annex Meeting Room at 6:30. The topic this week is “Brotherhood.”
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be Friday, October 2 from 8 to 5 in the Chapel. Spend some quality time with our Lord.

40 Days for Life Fall 2020 Campaign began on Wednesday, September 23. Sign up to pray the rosary for one hour a week between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the public right-of-way in front of Planned Parenthood at 700 West Highway 6.
