The entire month of October is Respect Life Month. Please remember to bring formula, diapers, wipes, and all things baby-related – toys, clothes, toiletries, bottles, etc. There is a collection site at each entrance for gifts. The items will go to Walking With Moms in Need, Gabriel Project, CareNet, and Isaiah House. Baby Banks are at all church entrances. Please put coins in the Baby Banks and return them at the end of the month.
Please help support law enforcement officers during National Faith & Blue Weekend after the 8 a.m. Mass. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
The Rosary will be after the 10:30 Mass.
There will not be the Women’s Bible Study this week.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is in the Conference Room beginning at 6:30 on Wednesday, October 11. RCIY (Rite for Christian Instruction for Youth) is in the Assumption House.
Church of the Visitation in Westphalia will host its 116th Fall Picnic on Sunday, October 8 on the parish grounds. There will be a meal, live auction, music, baked goods, crafts, and games. The Little School Museum will be open, and the new church is complete and open to all. All are welcome!
Brother, might God be calling you to be a priest? Bishop Vásquez invites you to see. Join other single men, ages 14-49, for Project Andrew: a day with Mass, prayer, presentations on the priesthood, and an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other men discerning their vocation. Project Andrew will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin on Saturday, October 14 from 9-3. Breakfast and lunch will be provided! There is no cost. On Sunday, October 15 there will be the Rosary at the Grotto at 10 a.m., and the Youth Group meets after the 10:30 Mass in the Annex.
