The parish of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in Waco, Texas, in faithfulness to Catholic teaching and Sacred Tradition, works to bring about a conversion of heart and mind, that all might recognize the dignity of human life and embrace the abundant life to which we are all called. We hold to the Church's firm conviction of the dignity of each and every human life, created in the image and likeness of God. Each of us is invited to be filled with the love that satisfies - that of the Holy Trinity - and in turn has a responsibility to nurture, protect and sustain the life God has created, from conception to natural death.
St. Mary's Pro-Life Ministry provides pro-life educational materials, sponsors the Gabriel Project, Rosary for Life, Mother's Day Flowers, the Baby Bank Campaign, and other parish activities. The ministry also cooperates with local and diocesan pro-life efforts.
